Wastewater Utility Worker
Apache Junction Sewer District (AJSD) is the sewer service provider for the City of Apache Junction.
AJSD is seeking an individual to to perform skilled work and manual labor involved in the installation, maintenance, operation and repair of the District’s wastewater collection system. Some of the responsibilities of this position include the installation, maintenance, operation and repair of sewer mains, manholes, service lines, disconnect cleanouts, forcemains and lift stations.
Required Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CDL with a tanker endorsement
- Must obtain a Grade 1 Wastewater Collection System Operator certification from ADEQ within 1 year of employment
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in the wastewater or water utility industry
- Experience in confined space entry and trench safety
