Question 1:  What kind of permits do we need to furnish?

Answer 1:  No permits needed.

Question 2:  Besides staking, do we need to provide compaction test?

Answer 2:  No compaction testing required.

Question 3:  Shall Sewer Bypass be provided between existing SSMH #1 and SSMH #6?  If so, does the existing 8" Sewer-line flow 24/7 and what is the sewage capacity?

Answer 3: Yes, flows are 24/7 and anticipated sewer capacity is 20,000 gallons per day.

Question 4:  Does the entire existing 8" Sewer-line between existing SSMH #1 and SSMH #6 (except the removal portions) need to be filled with grout?

Answer 4:  No, only the small stub sections required to be filled; the remainder will be abandoned in place.

Question 5:  Are we responsible for existing above ground improvement replacements including the three removed trees?

Answer 5:  Trees or other above ground improvements do not need to be replaced.

Question 1:  I am reaching out about the Apache Junction Sewer District Sewer Replacement project, number 24.06. Will the submission of this bid require a bid bond? I did not see mention of one in the bid package but wanted to be absolutely clear that if is or is not required to bid this project.

Answer 1:  The District does not require a bid bond for submission.
